Hurry Hurry! Delicious Ribs Festival in Ottawa
Hurry up Canadian Trainees, the Ribs Festival is in Ottawa!
Until this Sunday, June 25th, in Sparks Street (right in Ottawa's downtown) the ribs Festival is absolutely delicious!
Two trainees just tried it for you (how nice)! and we can now recommend you to join us here. If you can't join just check online if a ribs Festival is coming around your spot in Canada (they have big trucks and they just travel all over Canada).
What is a ribs Festival?
Apparently it is part of the American/Canadian culture. A lot of cooking-teams travel with their trucks around Canada (but also around the USA) in order to make people taste their delicious barbecues. The funny thing is that they all have a table full of prizes and awards that prove that their ribs are just the best ones you can taste.
Why to try it?
Well... the ribs are really good...and the teams are really friendly people. We were there this evening and we had fun talking and taking pictures with a lot of these people (and personally I could also talk with someone about soccer... what a pleasure!!! I almost forgot what it felt to talk about the World Cup!!!).
And those who can't eat pork?
Well... no problem! There are cow ribs (we taste those as well and they are very very good). Some of the stands also promotion alligator and other animals ribs... we could not try everything though.
This weekend a group of people in Ottawa will still go to the Festival and maybe to the beach... so if you want to travel here just take the greyhound and leave here a post! We will tell you how to join us!

Well... as you already promised you would cheer for Italy in the World Cup... I can givo you posting rights (I just have to discover how to do it... technical skills limits).

Thanks :) My LC makes me also very proud! LC Geneva rocks! It's just amazing how in a couple of years everyone helped in the transformation of the LC Geneva... and I somehow feel that Kick Off 2005 was some sort of turning point. You were hanging over to the new EB you recruted the leadership of our LC, and the newies who are now the new EB got turned from newies into AIESECers. I am so happy of having been part of that!
I am so happy we received the role model LC... we really deserved it! LC Geneva people are just SO active everywhere!
